وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ

“And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy (accessible or facilitated) for (the purpose of) Adh-Dhikr (remembrance – to be reminded)”. So, is there anyone who will (put in the effort to) remember?”.

Made easy for Adh‑Dhikr

Allah made the Qur’an easy — accessible, facilitated — for the purpose of remembrance (Adh‑Dhikr).

The verse then asks: “So, is there anyone who will (put in the effort to) remember?”

Forces

Trends & pressures

Trends, societal and family pressures can come and you can face your own individual struggles.

Effect

When truth is buried

All of which can bury the truth that you know inside.

Response

What the Qur’an does

Allah made the Qur’an easy for that truth to be remembered again.

To bring it out to the forefront and to the front of one’s conscience again.

To reinforce and empower it again.

So that it blazes bright and is not like a weak candle that is on the verge of being blown out.

Arc

From buried truth to blazing bright

1

Trends, societal and family pressures, and individual struggles can bury the truth inside.

2

Allah has made the Qur’an easy for remembrance — to surface that truth again.

3

It returns to the forefront of one’s conscience.

4

It is reinforced and empowered until it blazes bright, not like a weak candle on the verge of being blown out.

“So, is there anyone who will (put in the effort to) remember?”

An open question inviting a willing heart to engage in Adh‑Dhikr.
